My name is Caleb! The man behind Sisu Health & Fitness. I want to take a moment to properly introduce myself and let you know about my fitness journey.
Let’s go back to 2020, a year when people’s lives got flipped upside down, I piled on the weight hitting 122kg at my heaviest, looking at myself in the mirror I was ashamed of the person I had become, fat, unhealthy and to top it off a terrible receding hairline, I NEEDED to change, months past and April 2021 happened, my dad suggested I listened to “Can’t Hurt Me” by David Goggins and lent me his smart watch which I still have (thanks Dad) these two things ignited a fired inside me to become better.
No one saw the next 7 months coming, 122kg in April 2021 down to 84kg in November 2021, an average of 1.2kg of weight lost every week for 30 weeks. Role on 2022 I wanted to push myself and find out what I was capable of, so I ran a marathon (by myself) in 6 hours 18 minutes and 3 seconds, unhappy with my performance and results I signed up for an official marathon later that year finishing in a time of 4 hours 11 minutes and 32 seconds, a 2-hour improvement.
Why does any of this matter? Because I’ve been in your shoes, I know how you feel and I want to help you change. This is why Sisu Health & Fitness was born, I want to help people like myself live a happier healthier life.
Oh… I totally forgot to mention, I’ve been a chef in some of the UK’s top restaurants for over a decade so no boring meal plans or recipes here, only exciting food to help you achieve your goals.
